Come' on it's.....SALE-A-BRATION!......

Yes 'Sale-A-Bration' started this week!!

'Everyrone Around the world.......
WHHHOOOO HOOO.........

SALE-A-BRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON!!....
IT'S A SALE-A-BRATION!
LETS ALL SALE-A-BRATE & HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!'

I have tweaked the words a little, but as I dance around my computer-
at the excitment of crafting goodies for free,
this song really does spread the 'SALE-A-BRATION' message-
As this year SU Demo's,
All around the world are...
SALE-BRATING- 'SALE-A-BRATION',
At the same time!!!!......
WHOOO HOOOO!!!!
And what is the best thing about 'SALE-A-BRATION'- Well..........

As I am in the the 'SALE-A-BRATION' mode, I thought I would share with you a little card and decorated gift bag, I made this week, with the lovely 'Create-A-Cupcake' stamp set & 'Cupcake' punch, that would be a perfect for a 'SALE-A-BRATION'(hmmm- I seem to have gone into 'SALE-A-BRATION' overload, with the use of the word- 'SALE-A-BRATION'!!)
A 'Clean & Simple' look, using the SU colours, 'Wisteria Wonder', 'Pool Party', 'Crumb Cake' and 'Whisper White'.
Making use of the new large size scalloped punch,
from the spring mini.....
We have needed this for such a long time- Thank you SU!!
A 'sweet' sentiment from the same stamp set, given the spotty look with a stamp, that doesn't look much and is also, in the same set!
The bag decoration was created,using
a heart shaped pastry cutter!! It makes a fab adornment,
for an inexpensive paper bag!!
And the little heart is perfect,
with a touch of 'Dazzling Diamonds'

Christmas Flowers 'Stampin' Up!' Style!!

Every year I vow to be more organised..... have the presents all bought and wrapped for before the children break up from school, have teacher gifts prepared ready to send in to school on the last ....... ehhhh! that is were reality kicks in for me...my life doesn't often run like that, and as a Gemini I can be ultra organised, even OCD, about some things and way off the scale relaxed over others, really I am in a no win situation with myself!! So on the way to, yes to school, and it is the last day of term!, I discussed with my two what we, or rather I would go, buy & do for teacher gifts!

Now Matthew who wont admit to liking school but studiously does his homework, reading and practises his times tables with out asking, was keen for me to go and get flowers for his teacher and the two TA's, Heather who when you ask about school just says 'it's Alright' and cuts dead any further school talk, said 'What ever, will do'!!

So after the end of term School, Church Service- which was a Nativity & Carols, I nipped to the local 'Friut & Veg' shop and purchased some potted cyclamen plants, which came in grotty black plastic pots, and were just a couple of pounds each- so cheaper than buying wine or chocolates, and would hopefully last longer!! I then gave them an SU makeover, to make them look like they had come from a Florists boutique........
Armed with some cheap brown parcel paper,
a 'Real Red' Ink pad & the lovely 'Jolly Jingles Jumbo- Stampin' Around Wheel' & Handle,
I had soon created a exclusive sheet in which to wrap, the plants.
Even though the plants were different colours,
the 'Real Red' & sort of 'Crumb Cake' combo looked good....
& I had a 'wheelie' good time crafting in a rush!!!
Now this is were you may scream with shock horror....
but I really want to add a little sparkle, but quickly, so I grab a can of craft varnish out of my stash...
Gave the plants a light spray and then sprinkled a little 'Dazzling Diamonds Glitter' over them!
It really hard for me to show the sparkle....
but on this pink flower I think you can sort of see the glistening,
It looked almost Ice like!!
So simple, quick and effective and with the added bonus of a little 'Stampin' Up!' style!!

What 'Stampin' Up!' makes have you got planned for this Christmas, or maybe next year you plan to get creative, then please tell me via the comments, I would love to Know.

OOOooo and the never to early bit... well I can wish too!!! xXx

Its not going to be one of those days!!!

OK we all have bad days, days were we want to crawl under the duvet, days were we are more teary than usual....... I am a girl that wells up with sadness even watching action movies, the most memorable being 'Universal Soldier'.... well I was sad that he was so alone and in this state of not getting old etc, so tears on a down day are not unusual for me, but today even though the heating wasn't working when I went to bed and still wasn't working when I got up this morning, I was happy, but by the time I had done the school run, I was frustrated with sadness and anger at being sad!! Anyway I decided that enough was enough, today was going to be a good day......
So it started with ringing around a few stores to find the Jacket I need for a Christmas pressie, that has just gone half price, at store more convenient to me..... yesterday it was Sheffield, Wellifield and Stockport, today it is available in Wigan!!! Yipee!!!- that is close to a store I will be visiting for another Christmas pressie, so its a success there!

And I have just checked on my SU shipping info, I have a parcel that is just for me, being delivered by Mr. UPS, by the end of the day, and guess what they are free stamps..... yep! I got them free for achieving the second part of my Stampin' Start! OOO and the best part was that I could pick which sets I wished to receive... can you guess what I picked??

All I have to do now is get my Christmas Cards finished.... Yes you heard right, I still have some to do!! Today I feel inspired to make some creations, similar to ones we made at my SU mums- Julie Kettlewells, November training and the main stamp set, is not a Christmas one either!!
It's the delightful 'Doilies Stamp' set & it looks lovely stamped in 'Bashful Blue' & 'Night of Navy'
The greeting is from 'Four for the Holidays'.
A little treat holder made with the 'Big Shot' and the SU exclusive 'Two Tags' Die.
The lovely snowflake made with the a couple of punched 'triple doilies' & a sprinkling of SU 'Dazzling Diamonds Glitter'
Now this post was meant to have been posted at 11am today, but our Internet connection had gone astray...... so you know what, I just switched it all off and went to collect the coat and the other bits and pieces, sorry but I wasn't going to sit and mope over it!!

So I got the coat for half price and some other Christmas bargains too, And I can say that today hasn't been one of those days, its been 'a Good, Good Day'!!! xxx
