Tingley toe factor.....

Following yesterdays late post, I received a lovely comment off Kate Martin to say, she was glad I was back blogging and that could she 'CASE' my card for her Sisters birthday, well she has a big YES that's totally OK!, from me. 'CASE' means to 'Copy And Share Everything' and it's a lovely way for someone to appreciate what you have made and also a fantastic way for us 'Stampin' Up' Demonstrators to show our understanding of the 'Stampin' Up!- Statement of the Heart'......
Its is fantastic to be an independent demonstrator for a company that realises there is more to this than product, and on a more personal level it's fulfilling to have shared something that I love, that has encouraged others to be creative, and feel that they can do it too, and even though there is just me here typing on the 'secretly borrowed' net book, it makes my toes tingle with feel good factor that I have done my little bit to make a difference xx

Before i log off form my secret location ;-), on the secretly borrowed notebook ;-), I will share with you the card I made for my Daughters birthday, last Friday..... It's hard to believe that those 11years have come by so fast, it's another toe tingling feeling when I remeber holding her for the first time, and those butterflies, when she was in my tummy making first fleeting movements......  time does fly, and it was great to make her a card she loved!
I used the 'Create a cupcake' stamp set and matching 'Cupcake' builder punch, that she has loved using for many of here own creative makes, to make a little cupcake stand of cupcakes, and the stand was created with a little Punch work too, its amazing what you can get the 'Decorative label punch' to look like!!
I used the single heart from the 'Create-a-cupcake' stamp set to make a lovely decorative border, using 'Pretty in Pink' ink, and the word 'Heather' was cut using my SU 'Big Shot' and the 'Bigz' die 'Simple Alphabet', I then made a little 'faux pas' as i had thought i was embossing it with the 'Perfect Polka Dots- Textured Impressions Folder' but when I took it out, I realised i had de-bossed it and sat feeling a little annoyed with my self, then I thought i could add a little sparkle by filling the holes with a little 'Dazzling Diamonds' SU glitter, with my tombow glue, and I was then glad of the mistake, you can just make out the shimmery sparkle here, above!!
It was quick and easy to stamp and then line up the co-ordinating 'Cupcake Builder punch', and saves on the 'fussy cutting'! I created a banner for the 'Happy Birthday' greeting from 'Curly Cute' and stamped out two pennants......
On one I stuck a punched 'Pool Party' card stock heart which had, had a coating of tombow & 'Dazzling Diamonds' for a sugary sweet looking topping.....
And on the other I had die cut the no. 11, again out of 'Pool party' card stock and given the sparkly finish!
As it was a special card, i decorated the inside panel with the same heart stamping to create a border and popped on another stamped and punched cupcake.....
well they are only little and and you cant have too many!!

Right I had better log off, and why you may ask, am I on the school netbook during school hours?
well to my luck someone forgot theirs today, lets just hope she didn't need it, and doesn't get in to trouble!! xx
